Mr. John Virgil Mangrella, 84, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Memorial Hospital.

John will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Maria Janet D'Amico Mangrella; children, Carla, Joseph, and Jonathan; grandchildren, Tina, Ava, and Danté, and his brother-in-law, Isadore D'Amico.

John was born in Newark, New Jersey and was preceded in death by his parents, Carlo Mangrella and Louise Bove Mangrella.  He served his country in the United States Army during the Korea and Vietnam War.  He dedicated his life to working so that he could support and provide for his family.  John was loved by his family and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

The visitation will be on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
