Garden City-Mr. John Randolph "Randy" Todd, 62, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 23, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness.
He attended Groves High School and was a former employee of Gulfstream, and most recently employed with Roberts Truck Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Garden City. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward H. Todd, Jr. and sister, Peggy Todd Hendley.
Survivors left to cherish his memories are his mother, Marie Todd; brothers, Edward H. Todd, III (JoAnn) and Michael E. Todd, Sr.; sisters, Linda Greenway (Tommy) and Jackie Walker (Joey) and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mr. Todd's life was at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ken Sharpe officiating. Music was provided by Mr. Scott George and Mr. Michael Todd, Jr. Pallbearers were Michael Todd, Jr., Alvin Holton, Shane Walker, Randy Greenway, John Todd and Jeff Greenway. Burial followed at Bonaventure Cemetery with Rev. Larry Grier officiating.
