Rincon-Mr. John E. Ruckman, 79, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at
Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Mr. Ruckman was born in Diagonal, IA to the late Homer E. & Diamond Ruckman. He
retired from ABF Freight Systems and served his country in the U.S. Air Force where he
was a Tech Sgt. He was a member of the American Legion, lifetime member of the
N.R.A. and enjoyed wood working.

Survivors include his wife, Parilee "Patty" Ruckman of Rincon; his children, Karen E.
Ruckman (deceased), Gary & Susan Ruckman of Savannah, MO and David & Tammie
Ruckman of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Amanda Ruckman of St. Joseph, MO,
Sarah Kretzinger of St. Joseph, MO, Daniel Ruckman of Peoria, IL, Joshua Ruckman of
Savannah, MO, Rebekah Ruckman of Overland Park, KS, Kayela Foreman of the College
of Ozarks and Gunther Ruckman of Smithton, MO; great-grandchildren, Caleb
Kretzinger of St. Joseph, MO, Noelle Ruckman of Peoria, IL, Elijah Ruckman of Peoria,
IL and Kaeleigh Ruckman of Hiawatha, KS; sisters, Hazel Jackson of Allendale, MO,
Helen Shay of Des Moines, IA, Mary Ellen Schmirdla of Omaha, NE and Doris England
(deceased); brothers, Rex Ruckman of Stockton, CA and Paul Ruckman of Texas; several
nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Mozelle Berne of Springfield.
