John Charles Sullivan

Tampa, FL- John Charles Sullivan, age 79, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his home. John was born August 30, 1940 to Lonnie and Marion Lee Sullivan in Washington D.C., grew up in Eden, GA, and attended Effingham County High School. He served on the U.S.S. Bache and graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1967. John worked for Tampa Electric Company for 35 years, and retired in 2002. He enjoyed skiing, diving, golfing, reading, and watching the Tampa Bay Rays.

Survivors include his wife Quinell Pevey Sullivan; daughter Karen Sullivan of Seattle, WA, brother-in-law and sisters-in law, Reed Pevey, Jelane Battle, and Rachel Pevey of Guyton, GA; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation: 10-11 am Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Saturday, October 12, 2019 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Guyton Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the American Cancer Society.
