Rincon – Johnnie W. Love, Jr., 87, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center.

Mr. Love was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon, a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and choir member. He retired from Union Camp and volunteered at the Manna House for many years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie W. Love, Sr. and Marie Maine Love, wife, Zelle Brant Love; and daughter, Christine Elizabeth Winters.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Polk of Metter; son, Johnny C. Love of Rincon; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Rincon.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
