Rincon – Johnny R. Warren, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Effingham County native was a member of Rincon Baptist Temple. He had retired from CSX Railroad and was a US Air Force veteran. Johnny had been the Lost Plantation Club Champion for 12 years, loved hunting and fishing, and going to the Krystal Breakfast Club. Most of all Johnny loved the Lord and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. & Sarah Warren; a brother, Jackie Warren; and a sister, Naomi Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his children, Tony Warren (Michelle), Kris Warren, Becky Newton (Scott), Brian Warren, and Teresa Madera (Carlos); grandchildren, Hayden Warren, McKenna Warren, and Zander Warren; sisters, Betty Widener (Barry), Diane Hill, and Bertie Lee Hinely (Terry); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday, July 1, 2024 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Rincon Baptist Temple.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery
