Rincon- Johnny Edgar West, 53, passed away March 16, 2024 at his home.

The Savannah native was an iron worker with Local 709. He had a larger than life personality and was loved by many. Johnny loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janice Jewell West; mother, Janice West; father, Edgar West; and brother, Eddie Allen West.

Johnny is survived by his sons, Dustin Walden (Candy) and Justice West; sisters, Sheryl Fortson (Miles) and Mandy Young (Brian); brothers, Clint West (Jessica) and Mitchell West (Melissa); step-mother, Pam West; grandchildren, Leejo, Trey, Andrew, Ryder, and Alayah; and several nieces and nephews, Christina Fortson, Miles Fortson, Colleen Fortson, Matthew Fortson, Harley West, Julian West, Cassidy Young, Savannah West, and David West.

Memorial services will be held 12 pm Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Living Faith Church of God, 3789 Noel C. Conaway Rd., Guyton, GA 31312 with reception to follow.
