Pooler, GA - Mr. Jonathan W. Westerfield, 29, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at his residence.
Born in Lafayette, LA, on December 31, 1986. Son of Romona Gaspard Westerfield and the late Perry W. Westerfield.
Jonathan was a 2005 graduate of Ridgeland High School and worked as a Mill Wright in Savannah, GA at the Ports. Everyone who knew him knew he loved his beard, dreads and tattoos. He also enjoyed reading and listening to music. But above all else he was known for his big heart and soul and the love he had for his children and family.
He is survived by his wife, Crista Cooler Westerfield; two sons, Dominic Dvorak and Damian Westerfield; daughter, Dahlia Westerfield; mother, Romona Gaspard Westerfield (John); brother, Payton W. Westerfield (Velisa); two step-sisters, Miranda Johnson and Nicole Grabenbauer; two nieces, Asia and Alexis Westerfield and nephew, Payton Westerfield. Along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Jonathan was predeceased by his father, Perry W. Westerfield; grandparents, Edward J. Gaspard, Gladiola T. Gaspard, Payton Eady Westerfield and Doris Warren Ferguson.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Pine Level Baptist Church Social Hall located at 2009 Pine Level Church Road, Early Branch, SC 29916 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
