Obituary
Clyo – Joseph David Hughes, 65, passed away February 13, 2025.
The Port Wentworth native retired from Ironworker's Union and Atlantic Track.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Alton Hughes and Mary Beasley Hughes; and his wife, Novella Jane Hughes.
Survivors include his granddaughter, Stephanie Caroline Waldroop (Tres); great-grandson, Daxton William Moore; step-son, Wesley Tye Ballard (Jennifer); brothers, Eddie Hughes and Glenn Hughes (Anita); and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, February, 18, 2025 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 530 Laurel Hill Road, Clyo, GA 31303.
