Joseph L. Irby

Mr. Joseph Irby, 68, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on June 10, 2026 at his home.

Jospeh will be missed by his wife of 45 years, Linda Irby; daughter, Rose Irby and Heather Horner (Matt); grandchildren, Joseph Chase Irby and John Blakely; sister, Lola Littleton (Randy); brother-in-law, Gene Abbott; sister-in-law Peggy Harris (David); nephews, Little Randy Littleton, David Drake, and Joseph “Joey” Kendrick; niece Tammy Gray.

Joseph was born in Savannah, Georgia and lived in Pooler for 26 years. He retired from Roger Wood Meat Packing Plant. He had a huge heart and was a loving family man. His passions included fishing and fixing things.

The visitation will be on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.. The funeral to honor Joseph’s life will follow at 1p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abby West Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
