Springfield – Joseph E. "Joe" Puckett, 58, passed away August 28, 2021 at Effingham Hospital.

The Chatham County native was employed at BASF Corporation and was an avid fisherman, loved outdoors, and his family and friends.   He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Melton Puckett.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly A. Puckett; step-daughters, Kayce Peltier (Jake) and Kelsey Harville (Kylan); grandchildren, Brielle, Emma, Samara, Brooke; his father, John Puckett, Sr.; brother, Johnny Puckett (Georgia); sister, Dorothy Puckett; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the funeral home chapel followed by a Celebration of Life at 6 p.m.
