Guyton – Joshua Klayton Stafford, 18, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011.
Josh was born October 28, 1992 in Savannah. He was a Senior at Effingham County High School, an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing, but his greatest love was being with friends and his brother. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Selton and Miriam Morrow.
Survivors include his mother, Vicky Morrow Stafford of Guyton; father, Jody Stafford of Garden City;
brother, Chance Stafford of Guyton; paternal grandparents, Patti (Neal) Simmons of Pooler and Ronnie (Micki) Stafford of Garden City; paternal great-grandfather, Jonny Sims; aunts and uncles, Irene (Frank) Pennington, Selton (Jill) Morrow, Jr., Wayne (Bell) Morrow, Nancy Clayton, Danny Clayton, Jill (Steve) Olson, Jamie Stafford; and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Springfield with Rev. Jeff Rollins officiating. Josh will lie in state from 10 a.m. Pallbearers will be Gary Clayton, Frank Pennington, II, Shanon Morrow, Jon Pennington, Chivo Landeros, and Selton Morrow, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Wade Hall, D.J. Driggers, Travis Williams, Alex Achtzigger, Aubrey Mayse, and Bobby Waters.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
