Joshua Lee Turner

Joshua Lee Turner “J.T.”, 47, of Wilmington Island, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 5, 2026 at his home.

Joshua will be missed by his beloved daughter, Lilli Bonin, whom he dearly loved; his mother and step-father, Pamela and Don Atwell, Jr.; father, Eddie Turner; sisters, Kristi Davis-Zimmerman (Josh), Marisa Atwell, and Chelsea Atwell; nieces, Alyssa Davis and Fynlee Zimmerman.

Joshua was born in Savannah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alpha Turner, Julia Garris, and John Garris; uncles, Courtland Haroldson and John Garris; girlfriend, Donna Boykin. He was employed at Jalapenos on Whitmarsh Island. He loved sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and GA Bulldawgs. He will be remembered and deeply missed for his “bigger than life personality”, his big heart, and for being a friend to everyone. He loved his family and friends.

Their will be a celebration of Joshua’s life on Sunday, November 8, 2026 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at The Grainery at Red Gate Farms located at 136 Red Gate Farms Trail in Savannah, Georgia.
