Obituary
Guyton – Joy Newman Myers, 50, wife of the late Thomas Gary Myers, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2014 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah after a short illness.
Mrs. Myers was born on December 17, 1963 in Savannah, Georgia to Raymond and Blonnie Newman. She was a member of the Savannah Holy Church of God and was employed by Town and Country Industries/ABC Supply Company, for over fifteen years. She loved being with her family and friends, spending time in her yard, taking vacations to the mountains and loving on her dog Khloe.
Surviving are her daughter, Brittany Myers; her son, Brandon Myers and his wife, Amanda; her grandson, Brody Myers all of Guyton; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Newman of Ellabell; two sisters, Melody Covington of Ellabell and Gloria Davis and her husband, Larry of Rincon; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 pm Tuesday in the Chapel of the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ronny Williford, Ryan Davis, Jacob Lancaster, Brandon Jones, Lamont Rhymes, Danny Hovater.
Interment: Interment will be in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
