Springfield – Joyce Marlene Bilinsky Bell, 70, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014
Born in Martins Ferry, OH to the late Louise M. Couch and John Bilinsky, she graduated from Martins Ferry High School in 1961. She was raised Catholic and later was baptized and joined First Baptist Church of Springfield. She retired from Effingham County Board of Education after many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Bilinsky.
Survivors include her husband, Richard E. Bell whom she married June 21, 1963; sons, Ricky A. (Kim) Bell, Jeffery A. (Norma) Bell, Darrell A. (Georgia) Bell; grandchildren, Christopher Bell, Branden Bell, Kisha Bell, Joshua Bell, Tiffany Bell, Linda Rowe, Allison Rowe, and Bryce Beasley; great-grandchildren, Chrislynn, Macie, Caelyn, Riley, and Charlie; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Brewer, Carol Popp (Joe), Rose Fetty, Patricia Morehead (Chuck); and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
