Marlow-Mrs. Joyce Conaway Maddox, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at The Place at Pooler.
She was born in Effingham County to the late Judge James Ralph & Claire Conaway. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and she was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Maddox, Sr. and her sister, Jeanette Bailey.
Survivors include her children, Carl F., Jr. & Lisa Maddox of Trafalgar, IN, Sheila & Ralph Wright of Marlow and Michael Maddox of Marlow; five grandchildren; brother, James Conaway of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 3-5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Monday at Zion Lutheran Church with burial to follow in the Church cemetery.
