Mrs. Joyce A. McGahee, 98, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

Joyce is going to be missed by her daughters, Marcia Swagert (Jerry), Shelia Stuart (Boykin), and Jeanie Oglesby; grandchildren, Patsie-Lynn Swagert, Steven Kania, Stephanie "Shalane" Kania, Laura Casay (John), and Jason Stuart (Nicole); a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and a niece, Marie Moore.

Joyce was raised in Lake Butler, Florida.  She loved music, especially playing the piano, including for a gospel group that she was a member of, as well as for a number of different churches.  She enjoyed staying busy, whether it was working at the first J.C. Penny on Broughton Street in Savannah, or spending time with family.  She is going to be missed.

The visitation will be on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Joyce's life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Newton Cemetery.
