Mrs. Joyce Griner Smith, 83, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

Joyce was born in Savannah, GA to the late Willard Austin Griner and Leila Miller Griner.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hampton Smith, and 9 siblings.  She retired after many years at the city hall in Garden City.  She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Donald Hampton Smith, Jr., Craig Allen Smith (Patty), Bradley Austin Smith, and Joy S. Weeks (David); grandchildren, Trey Smith, Augusta Morgan, Ashley McNair (Eric), Leila Weeks, Joshua Weeks, and Nikki VanHorn Little (Kara), as well as many special nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the funeral home.  The funeral will follow at 1 p.m.  in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
