Mrs. Juanita Henry Kersey went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on August 25, 2025.

Juantia was very well loved and will be missed by her daughter, Brenda Latrelle Johnson (Teddy); her grandchildren, Chris Johnson(Kim), Brad Johnson(Kim), and Ryan Johnson (Jennifer); her great-grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Zachary Johnson (Hannah), Garret Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Makenzie Clark (Justin), Ethan Johnson (Makaylah), Evan Johnson (Bri), Eric Johnson, Madison Johnson, Maci Johnson, Molli Johnson, and Tucker Johnson;  great-great-grandchildren, Brantley, Arrow, Kinsley, Ace, Sophia, and Izzy; sister, Joyce Grant, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Juanita was born in Emanuel County, born fourth among eight children to the late Lawrence and Clara Flagler Henry.  She was preceded in death her husband, Austin Byron (AB) Kersey, and six siblings, Clara Lawson Anderson, Adell H. Archer, Lake Watson Henry, Lawton Daniel Henry, and Charles David Henry.

The visitation will be on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon.  The funeral to honor Juanita's life will follow at 12 noon in the chapel of the funeral home. The burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West.
