Springfield – Juanita Lamb Poole, 93, passed away September 25, 2024 at Eagle Health & Rehab.

The Emanuel County native was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church and attended Goshen Road Baptist Church.  She retired from Union Camp and worked at McDonald's in Rincon for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis Bazemore Lamb and Edna Curl Lamb; husband, J.W. Poole; daughter, Judy Wise; son, Jeff Poole; grandson, James Mitchell Poole; sister, Doylene Hendrix; and brother, Kerney Lamb.

Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Poole (Deborah) and Jake Poole (Pam); son-in-law, Danny Wise; daughter-in-law, Peggy Poole; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; a special friend, Tamaza Stringer.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
