Judy (Hannahan) Schroeder

d. Aug 13, 2026

Judy (Hannahan) Schroeder, born December 5, 1939, passed away on August 13, 2026, surrounded by love.  Judy was born in Kansas City to Sylvia and John Hannahan.  As a young lady, she moved to California, where she later became a Flight Attendant for United Airlines, a role she embraced with pride, grace, and her signature hospitality.  It was in California that she met the love of her life, Thomas Schroeder, beginning a marriage that lasted more than 50 years until Tom's passing in December 2018.  Together, Judy and Tom built a beautiful life and raised three loving children, Alex, Robert, and Susan.  Judy adored her two grandsons, Ben and Russ, and delighted in every moment spent with them.  After 4 1 years of dedicated service at United, Judy hung up her wings and poured her energy into the things she loved most: Northland Racket Club tennis, volunteering at animal shelters, and doting on family.  Competitive by nature and full of life, she brought joy and fire to the tennis court and cherished evenings spent playing bridge with friends.  Judy lived fully, loved deeply, and embraced every chapter with enthusiasm.  Her family will celebrate her life in private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to hospicesavannah.org or Peterson Pines Farm, https://www.instagram.com/petersonpinesfarm/ where her favorite fur grandchild, Kai (a rescued mustang) lives.  Thomas C.
