Rincon – Julia Delane Summers, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her home.

The Columbus, GA native was retired from Sears. She was a very active member of Rincon Global Methodist Church and volunteered at the Manna House. Delane was so kind and devoted to her family, friends, and her pets. She was extremely proud of being a military family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Summers; and son, Andrew Summers.

Survivors include her son, Gregory Summers (Wendy); grandchildren, Jacqueline Schram (Matt), Amber Summers (Steve), and Joshua Summers (Kaitlynn); and great-grandchildren, Damon Schram, Xander Schram, and Maddie Holmes.

Visitation: 4-6 pm Sunday, April 27, 2025 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 12 Noon, Monday, April 28, 2025 at Rincon Global Methodist Church.

Private Interment: Georgia Veterans Cemetery in Glenville.
