Guyton: Julian Finch, 75, died February 16, 2008.
The Bulloch County native was a member of Countryside Baptist Church. He had retired from Union Camp after 42 years of service. Mr. Finch had served in the US Army and loved fishing, gardening, and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby and Alvin Finch, and sister, Faye Avin.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise Finch; children, Wanda Crockett (Jerry), Roy Finch, Debra Noble (Philip), William Lester (Regina), Johnny Finch (Kathy), Ronny Finch (Kathy P.), Wally Lester, Paul Rigo (Robin), Hope Navarro, and Carolyn Hein; sisters, Dottie Robinson, Betty Dillard, Ann Alsdorf, Odean Burgner, Dale Herndon, Kay Hippert, Mary Lou Strawder, Vernice Lamb, and Audrey Lewis; a brother, Jarvis Finch; 22 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 20 at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home (Westside Chapel) in Pooler.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday February 21 at the funeral home chapel.
Burial: Gravel Hill Cemetery.
