Springfield – Julian Roy Finch 70, passed away April 11, 2025 at Memorial Health.

The Chatham County native served in the U.S. Air Force.  He retired from Boilermaker's Local #26 after 40 years of service.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Taft Finch and Earlene Finch Nightingale; and step-brother, Wally Lester.

Survivors include his life-partner of 34 years, Genice Freeman; daughter, Heather Miranda Finch; brothers, Ronny R. Finch and Johnny D. Finch; sister, Debra Finch Noble; step-brothers, William Lester and Paul Rigo; half-sisters, Hope Navarro and Carolyn Hein; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2024 at the funeral home.
