Julian Lee Smith, born on September 26, 1960 and went home to the Lord on March 3, 2025.  Julian was born in Savannah, GA and always thought of it as his home no matter where he may have lived at any point in his life.  He was predeceased by his father, Rufus Lee Smith, and his mother, Shirley Wallace, as well as his brother, Kenneth, and his grandparents.  He is survived by his wife of 29  years Robyn, step-mother, Sherry Richardson, his sisters Denise Smith, Janice Cope (John), Destiny Smith-Beaver, Shannon Smith Forrest (John), and Angel Smith Day (Dewey), as well as his brother Mark Wallace (Melanie).  His children Davy Smith (Desirae), Jamie Smith (Staci), Jennifer Smith, Laurie Goss (Geoff), and Erin Ellis Guffey (Tom).  He was a proud Grandpa to 15 grandchildren, Whitney Moore, Marisa Smith, Dalton Smith, Riley Goss, Kellan Goss, Landon Ellis, Braeden Ellis, Reagan Ellis, Xander Guffey, Jude Guffey, Dillon Rewis, Riley Rewis, and Leah Rewis; 2 great-grandchildren Kolton and Gavin.  His niece Alisha Smith, also lives with Julian and Robyn.  Julian loved being outdoors and shooting off fireworks.  He was delighted when we had family visit so he could put on a fireworks show.  He was passionate about solar energy and conservation.  He owned SolarSmith and installed panels all over Georgia and South Carolina.  He truly enjoyed educating clients about saving money and our planet.  Mostly though he loved his wife, Robyn.  He learned to love pets too.  The current dogs are Cissy, Henry and Jack.  There are also cats - Wild Child, Squeak, Buddy and Clawdine.  He enjoyed watching the turtle Ninja in her tank.  Julian loved Jesus and the Lord and we know he is with God now.  He will be sorely missed.  A special thank you goes to his sister Denise who spent the past 2 months at his side while he was ill.  We appreciate everything Denise did for him and Robyn.  The visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.  The memorial service to honor Julian's life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Thomas C.
