Karen Knabb Hodges
Springfield – Karen Knabb Hodges, 72, passed away February 10, 2016 at Effingham Care Center.
The Cobbtown native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield and was a retired restaurant manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack "Ozzie Lane" Knabb and Elizabeth Moore Knabb; brothers, Earl, Heyward, Calvin, and Jerome Knabb; her father-in-law, James Lester Hodges.
Survivors include her husband, James Robert Hodges; sons and daughters-in-law, Toby Hodges, Heath and Cindy Hodges, and Bridget Hodges all of Springfield; 5 grandchildren, Anthony Hodges, Ash' Lee Tillman, Victoria Hodges, Thylen Hodges, and Keaten Hodges; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Nathaniel Knabb of Charlotte, NC; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Lois Hodges of Springfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
