Karen L. Holt, 83, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Abercorn Rehabilitation.

Karen will be missed by her daughter, Holly Holt; brothers, Rodney Huisman (Karen) and Mark Huisman (Sandy), as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Jewell, Iowa and was preceded in death by her father, Benard Huisman and her mother, Grace Roe Huisman.  Karen had a love for travel and fashion.  She spent most of her adulthood living in South Florida enjoying time on the beach and working in the medical field.  Karen adored cats and would feed local cats in the area.  She loved watching the classic, older movies on her cable television.  Karen would talk about the movies and actors of the 1950's and 1960's time period and had a collection of books on various actors such as Dean Martin, Marilyn Monroe, and many other actors form the 1950's-60's era.

Karen's wishes were to be cremated.
