Karen Marie (Parker) Lee, age 62, of Bloomingdale passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her home.
Karen was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on March 17, 1959. She enjoyed baking and was well known for her beautifully decorated, tasty cakes and her delicious home-cooking. She was a dedicated mother and nana and loved by all who knew her. She was a lover of nature and had the most caring heart.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Scott E. Lee, her father, Ira Frank Parker, Jr., and a niece, Amanda Parker.
Survivors include her children, Richard Beckum, Jr., Christina LaValley and her husband, Alfred (AJ) LaValley, III, and Carl Brower, Jr.; grandchildren, Eric Beckum, Ava LaValley, and Clara LaValley; mother, Jean Parker; siblings, Susan Sikes and her husband, Robert, Rosemarie Dismuke and her husband, Albert, Linda Parker, Paula Parker and her partner, Andy Edwards, Ira Frank Parker, III and his wife, Georgie; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2:00 with visitation to follow at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home at the WEST CHATHAM Chapel located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, GA.
