Faulkville-Mrs. Karen E. Shuman, 69, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Karen was born in Garfield, GA and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Shuman. She was a school bus driver for the Effingham County Board of Education for over 30 years. She enjoyed being a loving and doting grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, camping, sewing, fishing and going out to eat.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Rahn of Guyton and Trish Haselden of Rincon; granddaughters, Jennifer Stahl, Reannah Haselden and Mariah Haselden; great-grandsons, Nick and Colby Stahl; sister, Mary Bedingfield and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 4 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
