Richmond Hill-Mrs. Katherine (Kitty) Maner Gnann, 88, passed away Sunday, April 11,
2010 after a short illness.

Kitty was born to the late Dr. Edwin N. Maner, Sr. and Alfreda Silvers Maner. After the
untimely death of Afreda, Dr. Maner later married Margaret Debele Maner of Savannah.
They resided in Savannah where Kitty attended school and graduated from Savannah
High School. She was married to the late Cecil G. Gnann of Savannah where they made
their home and later on St. Simons Island. Kitty worked in both the Chatham County and
Glynn County library systems where she was known as the "Book Lady" on the
bookmobile. She was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church and taught at the
I.P.C. School.

She is survived by her son, C. Alfred Gnann of Coquille, Oregon; her daughter, Kathy
Rollison of Richmond Hill; her brother, Dr. F.D. Maner of Savannah; eight
grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She
was preceded in death by a brother, Edwin N. Maner, Jr.

The graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Jerusalem Lutheran
Church Cemetery located on Highway 275 (Ebenezer Road) in Rincon.
