Mrs. Kathleen "Kathy" Eleanor McCauley, 78, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Kathy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Alfred Charles Johnson and Pearl Elizabeth Bower Johnson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" McCauley, and her brother, James E. Johnson.  She had worked with Palmer & Kay Carswell Accounting Firm for 22 ½ years, and for Oelschigs Nursery for a number of years.  She was also a member of the Lady Shriners – Aziza.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Chasity McCauley; grandchildren, Bailey K. McCauley, Aden R. McCauley, Georgia Lynn Ferguson, and Emma Leigh Ferguson; great-grandson, Luke Owen Charles, and her pet dog, Dottie.

The visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Kathy's life will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
