Kathleen "SALLY" Miller

Kathleen O. Miller – who was just "Sally" to her friends and family - passed away Wednesday September 27th, 2023, after a long illness, she was only 81. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Billy Gene Miller - her youngest daughter, Tammy Morgan – and her only son Donald Harold Miller.

Sally was the oldest daughter in a family of 8 children born to E.R. "Snowball" Burnett and Willie Mae Burnett. Sally married her sailor, Bill Miller and together they spent their life traveling. Sally and Bill raised three daughters, Teresa Miller, Cynthia (Miller) Williams and Tammy (Miller) Morgan as well as raising a niece, JoAnna Miller. Sally was always the one constant in the lives of the girls and they were all a close family. Sally was "Nanny" to her 8 Grandchildren, "Grand Nanny" to 21 Great Grand Children and 7 Great, Great Grand Children with an expectant Sammi on her way soon.

Sally was a kind and loving soul who would help anyone that needed it. She was always friendly and loved to talk. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held at Silver Hill Methodist Church on Saturday October 14th at 11:00. The family will be there at 10:00 for anyone wishing to visit and pay their respects. There will be a graveside service to follow.
