Guyton – Kathleen C. "Pat" Neklia, 95, passed away February 14, 2021 at her residence.

The South Dakota native grew up in Nebraska.  She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, retired from AT&T, and loved working outside and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederic Arthur Colwell and Theresa Ellen McKenna; husband, Michael Neklia; grandsons, Christopher Smith and Sean Smith; sisters, Theresa Margie Beath and Eloise Waller.

Survivors include her daughter, Robin Smith (Don); son, Steve Neklia (Laura); grandson, Michael Smith (Angel); great-grandchildren, Cameron Rahn, Destiny Rahn, Isabella Smith, and Tyler Smith; nieces, Cheryl Shean (Bill) and Susan West; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and her loving dog, Gracie.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.  Funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m.

Everyone is asked to wear jeans, a nice top, and red shoes in honor of Mrs. Pat.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to St. Boniface Catholic Church Outreach Program, 1952 Hwy. 21 S., Springfield, GA 31329.
