Kathryn Louise Jensen

Rincon- Kathryn Louise McVicker Jensen, was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. At the age of 85, Kathryn died Monday, December 24, 2018 at her residence in Rincon, GA. She was born May 7, 1933 in Dalton, Nebraska to William Alexander McVicker and Lyda Blanche Dearmin McVicker.  She was raised and educated in Sidney NE.

Kay, as she was known to most of us, was a kind hearted and carrying person.  She loved her God, family, and friends and of course her animals ("girls").  She loved to play golf and she and her beloved sister Sam were quite the bowlers.  Kay worked for many years at Gulfstream and loved her job there.  Additionally, she had an inspection service and did bookkeeping.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by one brother Marion (Max) McVicker of Sun City, AZ, nieces, and a nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Presbyterian Church in Pooler, GA. A light lunch will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Presbyterian Church, Pooler, GA or the Humane Society of Greater Savannah.
