Kathryn K. Jonas (Atkinson), 76, a long-time resident of Bloomingdale, GA, died February 16, 2018, peacefully at her residence.

Kathryn was a retired LPN, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church.

She enjoyed her time gardening and sitting on the porch swings with her children and grandchildren playing around her.  A family gathering of her loved ones for any occasion always filled her heart with happiness.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore C. Atkinson and Ruby R. Clanton Atkinson, as well as her brother, Joseph D. Atkinson.

She is survived by her children, Joey and Theresa Jonas of Pembroke, Jenny Jonas of Bloomingdale, Jeffrey and Tonya Jonas of Guyton, and Kathy and James Harrell of Opp, Alabama; brothers, John "J.C." and James Atkinson of Savannah; grandchildren, Daniel, Brittany, Selina, Alex, Brandon, and Abbagayle; great-granddaughter, Addison; several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Monday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel.  Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
