Kathryn Brooke Bazemore Hunter "Katie", 39, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022.

Katie was born in Savannah, Georgia on March 7, 1983.  She was a 2001 graduate of Groves High School where she played softball the last 3 years there.  She was a starting pitcher her junior year and the starting catcher her senior year.  She loved to sing and knew just about every word to most of the 60's and 70's songs as well as current songs.

Survivors include two children, Ryann Brooke Hunter and Micah Joe Hunter; parents, Roger Michael and Deborah D. Bazemore; sisters, Kimberly Bazemore DeLoach and Bailey Bazemore Hiatt (Stephen Hiatt, Jr.), as well as six nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.  The celebration of Katie's life will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Jeff Hubbard officiating.
