Kathy Marie Lovejoy, 60, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her home.

Kathy was preceded in death by the parents that raised her, Bill and Betty Kelm Hopkins.  She served her country in the United States Army and worked with the Department of Defense at Hunter Army Airfield.  She was a Christian, loved being outdoors, cooking, baking, animals, and building things, but most of all, enjoyed being with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Crystal DeAnne Henry of Rincon, Georgia and Michelle Walker (Antonio) of Pooler, Georgia; grandchildren, Kierra Cromartie of Savannah, Georgia, Antonio Walker, Jr. of Fort Hood, Texas, Traelyn Walker and Tyla Walker, both of Pooler, Laila Marie Henry of Rincon; mother, Judy Bergman of South Dakota, several siblings, nieces and nephews.

The memorial service to honor Kathy's life will be at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home – WEST CHATHAM CHAPEL, located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler.
