Bloomingdale-Mrs. Katie L. White, 86, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Katie was born in Cobbtown to the late Harley & Ella Sikes McCollough. She was also preceded in death by her husband, A.J. White, and three grandchildren. She was a member of the Pooler Church, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include five children, Faye & Ed Erskine of Richmond Hill, Ted & Esther White of Faulkville, Janice & Derrick Jeffers of Guyton, Arnold & Debbie White of Port Wentworth, and Elaine & Mike McLendon of Guyton; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with Bishop Eddie Tomberlin officiating. Pallbearers will be Ashley White, Derrick Jeffers, Brett Jeffers, Rickey Griffin, Eric Griffin, and Joshua McLendon. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery on Little Neck Road.
