Mrs. Katrina Penelope "Penny" Harrell, 79, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.  Penny was born in Hahira, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Chief Master Seargeant Howard L. Harrell, two grandsons, Specialist Adam L. Harrell and Thomas Harrell, her parents, Monsieur Dampier and Elma Lindsey Dampier, as well as her sister, Paige Moore.  Penny was family oriented, a devoted, loving, and kind wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She had a compassionate heart and was fun and adventurous.  She is going to be missed.  Survivors include her children, Lisa Harrell Brown (Jimmy), Kevin Harrell (Theresa), and Matt Harrell (Shannon); granddaughters, Caitlynn Brantley (Zach) and Taylor Alphonse (Nate); grandsons, Cody Hendrix, Jon-Morgan Harrell, Jacob Harrell, Trevor Harrell, and Liam Harrell; great-granddaughters, Addyson Brantley and Lyla Brantley.  The family will gather to celebrate Penny's life on Saturday, September 7, 2024 beginning at 11 a.m. at Penny's home located at 1674 Fort Argyle Road, Savannah, Georgia.  In lieu of flowers remembrances may be given to the family charity, projectholdinghope.org or mail to 1227 Rockbridge Road SW, STE 208, PMB 252, Stone Mountain, GA  30087.  Thomas C.
