Springfield, GA – Keith S. Corbin, 58, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 14, 1966, in Dublin, GA, second of two children to the late James Corbin and Elizabeth Corbin.
Keith was, for 35 years, the faithful husband of Stacy Corbin, and the loving father of Katie Ann Lewis, Jackson Thomas Corbin, Marybeth Darsey Fisher, and Callie Renee Corbin; respected father-in-law of Nicholas Stephen Lewis, Tyson Neurath Corbin, and Cameron Tyler Fisher; Grandfather (Pop) of his six grandchildren Lennon Parker Lewis, Liam McKenzie Lewis, Lochlan Wells Lewis, Hardy Solomon Corbin, Levi Theodore Lewis, and Mills Alton Corbin; brother, Kevin Corbin (Cindy); nieces Sarah Edge and Bridget Eubanks; nephew, C.J. Corbin.
Keith was a graduate of Georgia Southern University, class of 1988. He worked at Johnson Controls for 25 years and then at Gulfstream Aerospace for 10 years as a Facility Assets Manager. He was a member of Springfield Oaks Church, and he enjoyed Sunday drives in his Jeep and spending time at his beach house on Tybee Island. His favorite hobbies included going to yard sales and auctions with his wife Stacy, working with his hands, and listening to southern rock music. More than anything, Keith loved taking care of his family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Strickland & Sons Funeral Home from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. A graveside funeral service is planned for 11:00 AM Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Effingham Memorial Gardens where Keith will be laid to rest. Pastor J. Michael Finn will be officiating.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the Methodist Children's Home and Gideons International.
