Rincon – Keith Eugene Cornell, 74, passed away February 10, 2023 at Hospice Savannah.

He retired from Effingham County Board of Education after 30 + years of teaching, was ASE certified in 5 Automotive different areas, was a member of N.A.T.E.F. and G.A.C.T.E., and was the principal author of an automotive curriculum in the state of Georgia.  He was a former police officer in Kentucky.  After retiring, he enjoyed his new business: Papa's Kettle Korn, attending festivals and athletic events.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Max Eugene Cornell and Helen Bernice Brown Cornell Adams; and brother-in-law, Tom Clouser.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Cornell; daughter, Jennifer Peavy (Clay); granddaughter, Chloe Lynn Peavy; sister, Judy Clouser, nieces and nephew, Jacque Clouser, Renee Clouser, and Tom Clouser (Elena); great-nephew, Tobin Clouser.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the funeral home followed by memorial services at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
