Springfield-Keith Revere Hinely "Bocephus" passed away on August 18, 2021.

Keith was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman who loved the outdoors. Keith retired from the International Longshoremans Union "Local 2046". Keith was the owner, sponsor and crew chief of Hinely Racing #009. Keith was inspired to take the different route at times like "Hank Williams, Jr.". He followed Hank around in concert for many years, often camping out 24 hours before the start of ticket sales in order to get the best seat. He was known for planting a huge garden each year and sharing his vegetables with co-workers, friends and family. Keith was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church.

Keith is survived by his wife Robin Hinely; son, Justin Hinely; brother, Michael Hinely (Charlotte), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Keith was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edward and Dorine Hinely and his dog Hank.

His family would like to thank everyone for their kindness through this difficult time. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
