Obituary
Guyton-Mr. Kenneth Blalock, 65, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Kenneth was born in Claxton to the late Willard & Mary Blalock. He retired from GAF Roofing Material Company, was a former volunteer fireman in the 7th District, and was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed helping people, stock car racing, livestock, taking care of the goats, lambs, and pigs. He enjoyed watching football and baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis S. Blalock; daughter and son-in-law, Alison Lynn Tyler & Michael J. Tyler; sister, Gwendolyn Winters; brother, Joe Blalock and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Sand Hill Baptist Church located at 1936 Sand Hill Road with the burial to follow at the Woods Family Cemetery.
