Statesboro-Mr. Kenneth R. Broughton, 57, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 while working in Saudi Arabia.
Kenneth was born in Bell County, Kentucky and was raised in North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Sarah Broughton. He was of the Baptist faith and loved his Lord. He enjoyed karate, martial arts, he was a gun enthusiast, but most of all he was a homebody who loved being with his family. He was employed with AMT Corporate Interiors.
Survivors include his wife, Patty Thompson Broughton; children and their spouses, Dustin Broughton, Tricia & Kelly Hammock, and Becky & Bobby Wellman; grandchildren, Stephanie Broughton, Joshua J. Bentley, Christopher L. Bentley, Brittany N. Bentley, Zachary E. Boyles, Christian M. Hallisey, T.J. Davis, Jayce Davis, and Tyler Wellman; great-granddaughter, Nicole S. Eitel; brothers and sisters, Larry, Tommy, Mike, Chris, and Albert Broughton, Carol Durkin, Linda Sexton, and Faye Harper, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Westside Memorial Gardens.
