Kenneth Darnell Dampier, 61, of Port Wentworth, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Atlanta Medical Center.

He was born in Savannah and was preceded in death by his father, Pleasant Hugh Dampier, Sr. and a sister, Gloria Cole.  He loved music and playing the guitar.

Survivors include his mother, Rachel Dampier; his siblings and their spouses, Linda Seiler, Pleasant Hugh Dampier, Jr., Barry & Serena Dampier, Donnie & Beverly Dampier, Deneen & Joe Patrick and Marcus Darnell Dampier as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The memorial service to honor Kenneth's life will be at 5 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 U.S. Highway 80 West in Pooler.
