Kenneth Stephen Hatter, 72, passed away on December 22 in Ellabell, GA.

Son of Bess Hatter (Anderson) and Rev. Paul Hatter, he was born on June 17, 1952 in Athens
GA. He was preceded to heaven by his mother and father, brother Sam Hatter, son Donnie
Abernathy and daughter Katie Wilson (Hatter).

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Diana Hatter and their children Krystal Brady, Kenneth
Hatter II and wife Brandi; 12 grandchildren: Aaron Abernathy, Devin Abernathy & fiance Haley
Castrodad, Somer Murray, Jack, Connery & Coen Brady, Amber Wilson, Kad'n Phillips, Taylor &
Tyler Thornhill, David George, Cameron Bridges and great grandchild Donnie Abernathy II, his
brother Paul Hatter and sister Millie McGee and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews will miss him deeply.

Kenneth was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. His passing was
sudden and unexpected. While we have lost our husband and dad, many others have also lost
a friend and loved one in him. He was many things to each of us and his laughter, sarcastic
humor, advice, love, open heart, and rock in our times of need stand out in our hearts and
memories. He left his mark in all he did, took part at SpaceX, helping to design their first rockets,
Boeing where he helped on their Mars Rover project and many other fields of endeavor. We
pray the hole he leaves in our lives will be forever filled with the love and laughter he brought to
us all.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday the 27th at the Bloomingdale Church of

the Nazarene, 1116 US-80 in Bloomingdale, GA  31302.
