Pooler-Mr. Kenneth P. Murphy, II, 58, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
He was born in New Brunswick, NJ to the late Kenneth P. Murphy, Sr. and Doris Ann VanWoeart Murphy. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Murphy and a sister, Audrey Murphy. He retired from the State of New Jersey as a Corrections Officer and he was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Jahoda-Murphy of Pooler; daughter, Kimberly Murphy of Savannah; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth P. Murphy, III and Crystal of New Jersey; grandchildren, Robert William Murphy and Kenneth P. Murphy, IV; brother, Kevin Murphy of Palm Coast, FL, sister, Dori Murphy of New Jersey, sister and her partner, Kathleen Murphy and Aprile Mondello of New Jersey; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Ambrosio and Dr. Patrick Ambrosio of New Jersey; nieces and nephews, Bryan, Heather, Tina, Robert, Ryan, Fallon, Erika, Molly and Stephen and several beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
The visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a Prayer Service at 8 p.m.
