Kenneth "Kennie" Slater

Mr. Kenneth “Kennie” Slater, 74, of Faulkville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at The Resorts at Pooler.

Kennie will be missed by his brother, Ernie Slater (Linda); niece, Heather Kaufman (Tom); nephew, Jason Slater (Jodi); great nieces and a nephew, Alice Kaufman, Jake Slater, and Kayla Slater, as well as several cousins.

Kennie was born in Savannah, Georgia and was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Floy Smith Slater Davis. He retired from the GA Port Authority and enjoyed collecting guns, hunting and fishing.

Kennie’s wishes were to be cremated. The family is planning a graveside service which will be announced soon.
