Pembroke – Kimberly Lauren Newsome Thayer, 28, passed away March 19, 2025.

Kimberly was a loving, kind-hearted young lady. She had a heart of gold. Her smile and laughs left an impact on everyone who came into her life. Kimberly was a devoted, passionate mother to her son, Dawsyn Thayer.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, and anything with her son Dawsyn.

She was preceded in death by her grandma, Elizabeth Jackson; cousins, Devin Eugene Thompson and Lera Mae Edenfield.

She is survived by her son, Dawsyn Thayer and his father, Cameron; her mother, Katosha Hackle (Kenneth); father, Richard W. Newsome, Sr.; brother, Richard Wayne Newsome, Jr.; sister, Alana Warren; grandmother, June Loflin (John); grandmother of Dawsyn, Donna Thayer; step-brother, T.J. Hackle; step-sister, Katrina Hackle; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation: 10 – 11 am Monday, March 24, 2025 in the funeral home.
