Kyle Thomas Zimdahl, 28, of Augusta, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at his home in Rincon, Georgia. Kyle was living with his grandparents in Rincon while working as an Amazon Warehouse Associate in Pooler, Georgia. Kyle was born on May 15, 1995 in Statesboro, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Samuel Round and Mary Round, paternal grandmother Lorraine Zimdahl, paternal grandparents Edward McDaniel and Joan McDaniel of Natchez, MS. Kyle was outgoing, extremely loving, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He loved his daughter, Reagan, most of all. He loved college football and supported the Florida Gators. He loved to make people laugh and his family and friends enjoyed his big personality and sense of humor. Kyle made friends wherever he worked. Kyle was "Uncle Kyle" to several of his friends' children as Kyle seemed to be in everyone's "family."

Survivors include his daughter, Reagan Zimdahl; mother and father, Angie and Mac McDaniel; father James Zimdahl; siblings, MacKenzie McDaniel, Dylan Zimdahl, Kevin Zimdahl; maternal grandparents Tom and Shellie Smelser; Uncle -T.J Smelser of Pooler, Ga; Aunt and Uncle-Rebecca Smelser and Skylar Kennedy.

There will be a celebration of life ceremony in the spring of 2024 so that all family members across several states can attend. Kyle's social media page will remain open so that the family can share the date and time with those that would like to attend.
